Race Report

Holy Brainerd, holy turn one. 3/4 mile straight away, then without taking the throttle off the stop you bend it to the right as hard as you can, hold the throttle to the stop in top gear the whole way around. Wind buffeting is crazy, it feels like your head is going to get ripped off backwards and your knee is on the ground at 160mph.

Things went pretty good out in the country for us. Final results were 19th in the 600 Supersport race and 13th (first 600) in the 750 race. I'm OK with that, you could always do better, but my lap times came down by over a second a lap.

I'm on the road as I type this, I'm racing in Portland this weekend for the FUSA round and then I'm off to Pikes Peak in Colorado without making it home in between. Things are a little hectic, but I don't have to fix any crash damage for a change and it feels kinda good. Wish me luck and you'll hear from me next week.
